Overview

Interval is a meeting companion for iPhone and Mac. It uses information you choose to provide so it can show your day, help you prepare for meetings, run a timer, and keep notes. Interval does not have an Interval-owned account system or advertising network, and the app does not use your information for cross-app tracking.

This policy describes the current app and website. Apple and RevenueCat provide parts of the app’s calendar, iCloud, notification, and purchase infrastructure, as described below. Cloudflare hosts this website and may process IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect it. The website has no sign-up form or Interval analytics.

Calendar information

If you grant calendar access, Interval reads events from the calendars you select. It uses event titles, dates and times, availability, calendar identity, and relevant event details such as a meeting link to show your agenda, briefing, preparation countdown, and meeting controls. Interval does not edit calendar events or invitations.

The app processes calendar information on your device for these features. Selected calendar identifiers and preferences are saved on your device so the app remembers your choices. You can deselect calendars or revoke access in system settings.

Meeting notes and iCloud

Notes are saved on your device first. A note can include text you write, a meeting title, an event identifier, an occurrence date, and timestamps needed to find and reconcile it. Interval may keep a local recovery draft while saving a note.

If iCloud note sync is enabled, Interval stores notes and change information in your private iCloud database so they can appear on your Apple devices. iCloud sync is on by default for a new installation, and you can switch it off in Interval’s settings; the saved setting takes effect when the app next launches. If iCloud is unavailable, notes remain local. Apple handles the iCloud service under its own terms and privacy policy.

When you delete a note, Interval clears its text, title, and event identifier from its change history. It retains the occurrence date and opaque identifiers needed to reconcile changes across devices. Copies may remain for a time in Apple device backups or iCloud systems according to Apple’s retention practices. You can manage iCloud data and backups through Apple’s settings.

Notifications, Live Activities, and Focus

If enabled, Interval schedules meeting reminders and Live Activities on your device. These may display a meeting title and calendar name on visible system surfaces. You can turn these features off or hide meeting titles in Interval’s settings. If you choose to use Focus integration, Interval opens the Shortcut you name with a requested end time; you control the Shortcut and its permissions.

Purchases and subscriptions

Apple processes in-app purchases. Interval uses RevenueCat to load available subscription plans and check purchase or restore status. RevenueCat creates an anonymous app user identifier when its SDK starts. That identifier, purchase and subscription identifiers, and related transaction information may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat to provide and verify Pro access. Interval does not receive your payment card number. See Apple’s privacy policy and RevenueCat’s privacy policy for how they handle information in their services.

Your choices and retention

You can change selected calendars, reminders, Live Activities, title visibility, and iCloud note sync in Interval’s settings. You can delete individual notes in the app, revoke calendar or notification permission in system settings, and remove local app data by deleting the app. Information in iCloud and backups is managed through your Apple account. Purchase records remain subject to Apple’s and RevenueCat’s retention practices.

We may update this policy when the app or its services change. The effective date at the top will change when we publish a material update.
